During the Blenkner Cup, Nick Whisler delivered one of the tournament's most unforgettable moments. Facing a high-pressure situation on the 18th hole with the match on the line, he found himself buried in a bunker. First shot—still in. Second shot—still no escape. Third shot—disaster. Frustrated, Nick snapped his loft wedge over his knee on the spot. His playing partner, Mike Fitzpatrick, immediately offered to buy the broken club—and in true Blenkner Cup fashion, it was later built into the MVP trophy, turning a moment of frustration into tournament history.
